GM, Ford, Fiat/Chrysler suck at buidling cars...
They sell us underperforming, unreliable, ugly, cars that dont hold there resale value.
Let me Begin, Chevy is a joke with there Chevy Cruze, a Rebadged Daewoo anyone, lets not forget the
steering wheel falling off, Seriously are GMs quality control personal blind?..Back to the
cruze, its claim to fame is getting 40+mpg. I laugh at this shitbox, do they really think they can compete with honda Civic, or a Hyundai Elantra?...Oh i know i will get responses back like oh, you didnt drive one, you dont know what your talking about right? to my import cars as the die hard GM, Ford, Chrysler guys word it.. I have heard way too many stories
of oh my 1979 gmc pick has 470,000 miles on it, on its 4th engine, 8th tranny mind you and couldnt pass an emission test to save its life...Oh american cars last longer i hear also,, funny, aside form the cars from from the muscle car era, and an occasional land yacht lincoln continental from 76 that uncle leo still drives....My dad bought a volkswagen beetle back in 72, after that it was a honda cvcc, named after the cvcc motor that passed the epa mandated emmision law of 1974 without the aid of a catalytic convertor, instead, GM said to congress, it will cost too damn much to outfit our engines with that technology...cost us billions of dollars...yet Honda, little honda did it...My family has bought hondas from 1974 -2012 and byond...I hear in restaurants..Oh those japanese cars rust out...Ugh hello, i live in cleveland ohio.. salt on the roads 10months out of the year..my dads 1986 honda civic has 450thousand miles on it, its a 5-speed, original transmission, not a spec of rust...granted, my dad is anal about his cars...around this same time my brothers were in high school during the 80's, i remember my brother scott buying a chevy berreta, his first new car, i still remember driving it home from the dealership...the cheap interior, the rattles, the 4-speed automatic...my brother traded it in a year later on a 1989 honda accord wagon, his grand daughter drives it....My dad tells me jokes, like how do you spot a gm truck...one headlight out or fog light out...My dad has bought domestic trucks too,, 2008 chevy silverado,, great truck, if you dont want to be able to drive it anywhere, the tranny is stuck in 1st gear and its the 3rd replacement replacement tranny, and its on its 18th window motor,, my dad lost count after 10, so it sits in our barn in the back as time capsule of sorts...i have read comments online of americans saying your un-american for buying a honda, my response is, what would you want me to buy in that wont break down after 50k...a malibu, a fusion, a chrysler200, please..test drove all 3 and i am stating fact...if thats the best gm and chrysler can do, let them fail..The F-body guys, camaro, fierbird, trans am, corvette, mustang, challenger, charger...yeah you get a v-8, yeah its a throwback...but when my nissan gtr out accelerates, out corners, out handles, out performs your supposed muscle car with just a 6 cylinder, what is the wow factor...i have heard guys say oh the camaro with 15grand worth of bolt ons or a mustang with independent rear end and a turbo will keep up with your ricer car...i laugh..the nissan gtr has beaten ferrari, lambo, bugatti, do you think its worried about a camaro or mustang...quite possibly the 2 gayest cars to see a guy drive..Face it america, Government motors is on borrowed time.. nobody wants to drive buick, or chinese cadillac or chevy or gmc, Oh the big 3 made the weapons that beat the japs and germans in WW2, so, honda wasnt around, either was toyota...The Chevy Volt.. competing with the toyota prius, again gm is late to the party.. who wants a 42k car with a 40mile charge range..doesnt hat defeat the purpose of an electric car...drive a tesla roadster...Enough of my ramblings...gonna go hop in my nissan gtr and totally embaress every mustang, camaro, corvette driver i see on the road tonight...
